Pre85mxwa is a club that has been formed to accommodate people wanting to ride and restore bikes built before December 1984. It has certainly been proven that this era of bikes is growing very strong in popularity and will continue to do so, as a result many people have these treasures hiding in there sheds and now is the time to dust them off, fuel it up, kick ‘m over and bring them out for a day of riding and enjoy the company of many like minded people.

2012 Calendar of Events

The 2012 Calendar is now out.
Please note that this calendar is only a "Draft" with further club events to be added.
Part of the calendar is an invite from the BSAHDMC to compete in their Pre85/90 class during their club runs, "El Pres" is negotiating to ensure costs are kept to a minimum.
There are several open events on the calendar that commence with the first round of the Veterans Series on the 18th March at Byford, in the pre 85/90. The Veterans series is made up of three rounds is is for over 35's including age group racing on moderns and a pre 85/90 class.

Don't forget you need to be a financial member to compete in these events, so let's get those membership applications in.

Happy new year etc, It’s that time again, time to start thinking about the new season. We have a new committee and they are feverishly working on this year's calendar. A variety of events are being planned from Come try days to inter club events and possibley a couple of different type events. In line with MA’s new definition of classic MX, that now goes through to the pre 90 class. The club is now allowing MX bikes built before 31 december 1989 to be ridden with the club. With the hope there will be enough to form it’s own class in time. For prospective and existing members our Membership Form for 2012 is now online. You are never too old to have fun on 2 wheels!
